NOVEMBER

On November 7, Western Interiors & Design co-hosted a celebratory cocktail reception for the stunning new 33,000-square-foot John Brooks showroom in Scottsdale, Arizona. Glamorous VIPs including  Holly Hunt and designer David Michael Miller were on hand to toast the new space.

On November 19, Western Interiors & Design and S.Harris/Fabricut hosted a special keynote panel discussion, Entertaining At Home with some of Houston’s top interior designers, including Ken Kehoe of KMK Interiors and Julia Blailockof Blailock Design. The event was held at the Decorative Center Houston and was followed by a luncheon reception at the S. Harris/Fabricut Showroom. For more information please click HERE.

On November 24, Publisher Jennifer Matthews and Regional Manager Emilie McIntyrewere in Santa Fe, New Mexico where Western Interiors & Design partnered with MOSS OUTDOOR to host a cocktail reception at the company's showroom.

JUNE

On June 19, Western Interiors & Design hosted La Fete de la Musique at the new Exquisite Surfaces showroom on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles. Hosted by Exquisite Surfaces ownerPaula Nataf and her sons, Franck and Alexis Nataf, along with marketing manager Gavin Carey, the event drew more than 200 key members of the Los Angeles design community.

MAY

On May 14, Western Interiors & Design celebrated its fifth anniversary in true New York style with a penthouse party atop the Hudson Hotel. Guests were treated to sweeping western views of the sunset over the Hudson River. High-profile designers and marketing partners joined forces to pay tribute to the magazine that has been raising awareness of the great interior design and luxury lifestyle of the West over the last five years. Cocktails flowed as designers such as LA's Jaime Rummerfield and Ron Woodson, Philip NimmoBarclay Butera mingled with marketing masters Jolie Cross of Robert Allen, Kim Huebner of Pierre Frey, Gwen Toline of Niermann Weeks, and Claudette Blackwood of Bernardaud. Guests also included Connecticut designer and author of Greenwich Style, Cindy Rinfret; Elena Frampton, former Clodagh designer, now principal of Curated design studio in New York; public relations maven Lyn Shroeder; min editor Steve Cohen and his associate Iris Dorbian; designers Thomas Fuchs, John Mahoney and Paul Mathieu; and New York designer Denise Kuriger, whose Malibu installation was featured on the cover of the June/July issue of Western Interiors & Design. On May 6, Western Interiors & Designeditor-in-chief Michael Wollaeger delivered a lecture entitled "How the West is Redefining Luxury" at the Denver Design Center. Focusing on installations in the Rocky Mountain region, Wollaeger explored the inspiring trends in the luxury market of the west, and its effect on the world market.

On May 2, editor-in-chief Michael Wollaeger addressed members of Design Centers International at the Dallas Decorative Center about the growing importance of the American West as a design marketplace.

MARCH

On March 8, Western Interiors & Design publisher Jennifer Matthews, editor-in-chief Michael Wollaeger and regional director Tom Johnson hosted an "Enchanted Evening" at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford Housein Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. After a wine reception, guests were treated to a private tour of the historic mansion and a candlelit dinner.
